When you submit a collaboration card, either by sending us an email or by using the “Get Started” or “Create a Card” button on our website, we collect the following information: your name, a description of your collaboration project, your contact information, and optionally a profile picture. We may also collect phone numbers if you choose to provide them.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is used to create and display collaboration cards on our website. Each card is displayed for one week. Before the card expires, we may contact you via email to ask whether you want it to remain on the site for another week. If you choose not to extend the display, we will remove the card within 1–3 business days. The information you provide is only used to facilitate collaboration between users. When someone clicks the “Contact Me” button on a card, they are directed to the user’s email to initiate contact.

4. Information Sharing

Your information is only shared on our website through your collaboration card. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Other users may see your contact information on the card in order to reach out to collaborate with you.

5. Data Retention

Collaboration card information is retained on our website for the duration of the card’s display. Once a card is removed, the associated information is deleted from the website within 1–3 business days.

6. Security

Currently, we do not have specific security measures in plaormation, you accept this temporary limitation.

7. Data retention & deletion

When you delete your account, we delete the entire account and associated data from our systems (profile, posts, email, password) so you must create a new account if you return.If you request that we remove your account or if you exercise your right to erasure, we will delete all personal data we hold for that account, unless we are legally required to retain certain information (for example, to satisfy legal obligations).Backups may persist for a short time for operational recovery; we permanently remove personal data from live systems as soon as reasonably possible.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data and keep our servers secure. These measures include secure servers, appropriate access controls, and best practices for password handling. However, no system can be 100% secure — use a strong password and keep your credentials confidential.

Cofind is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a user under 18 submits information, they are responsible for any consequences that may occur.
